Los voluntarios de Bomberos son admirados en todo el país por su gran trabajo y ardua labor en esta intensa temporada de incendios.

Durante las acciones para combatir las llamas del incendio de Villa Alemana, que obligó a evacuar a 600 personas y quemó varias casas y noble gesto, conmovió a los voluntarios.

Un niño entregó una carta agradeciendo a los bomberos por ser tan valientes en su tarea y su abnegada ayuda.

«Queridos Bomberos, muchas gracias por su ayuda, los admiro, son mis héroes, muchas gracias por su trabajo, muchas gracias por ser nuestros amigos, muchas gracias por ser valientes, luchadores. Muchos dan su vida por todos nosotros, que dios los bendiga y los cuide. Atte. Felipe Torrijos» señala el texto.
